Music festivals. They are vibrant, vivid, daring, and adventures. They ignite the same adrenaline that promotes the calmness from listening to your favorite bands and vibing with so many people all at once. Music festivals are a pleasant way to enhance a musical experience and broadcast a creative way to enhance your features and display your sense of style. There is no judgment because everyone else is also attempting to discover a unique way to exhibit their makeup, hair, and outfit.
A few weekends ago, my boyfriend and I attended Music Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia. A music festival, where the lineup included, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Foster The People, Khalid, Bazzi, Gucci Mane, Borns, and so many more talented musicians given out the performance of a lifetime.
The festival was in Piedmont Park in Downtown. Luckily, our hotel was also located Downtown so we had a few minutes to adventure through their downtown while we made our way to the festival. The traffic and the gargantuan amount of people who attended the festival were not fun to deal with, but it was all worth it. My favorite performance was Billie Eilish’s, who was the main reason that I wanted to even attend the festival initially. Of course, Post Malone gave out a great show and Imagine Dragons was equally amazing. My boyfriend and I did not have time to see every single band play, since some of them played at the same time as others, but everyone we did get to see all gave out an amazing performance.
The festival vibes were everywhere, and it was such a fun inexplicable feeling. Everyone was there for a good time and there seemed to be no worries amongst anyone. A small utopian world inside Piedmont Park had been established for that weekend.
The whole vibe for that weekend was so lively and incredible. A feeling I miss the most. Although at times my boyfriend and I felt succumbed under a bit of stress from the traffic and the limited parking situation, I hardly look back at those moments and instead re-live all our amusing times and the festival vibes.
